Your purchase

Before ordering, please review the product description, selected options, measurements, production timeframe and applicable policies.

Our Shipping & Returns policy forms part of these terms. For bespoke commissions and design services, our Bespoke Commissions: Design Fees & Cancellation policy also applies.

Any specifications or arrangements individually agreed with you in writing form part of your contract. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Placing and accepting an order

Please check your order details carefully before submitting payment.

An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. We accept the order when we send you an email expressly confirming acceptance, this could be in the form of a fulfilment email. At that point, a contract is formed.

For bespoke commissions, we confirm acceptance in writing after the design, specifications, price and payment arrangements have been agreed.

If we cannot accept an order, we will explain why and refund any payment taken for it.

Product descriptions and materials

The relevant product page or bespoke specification identifies the metal, gemstones, dimensions and available options.

All metal used in Cervo Studio jewellery is 100% recycled. We use both natural and laboratory-created gemstones, with each clearly identified.

Photographs and renders help illustrate the design. Screen settings can affect colour, and natural gemstones may have individual characteristics. These variations do not remove our obligation to supply jewellery that matches its description and agreed specification.

Any significant variation or proposed material substitution will be discussed with you before proceeding.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency selected on the website. Applicable taxes charged by us and delivery costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

For bespoke work, the total price and payment arrangements are confirmed in writing before you commit to the jewellery order.

Optional extras and additional work require your agreement. We will not increase an agreed price without your consent.

If we discover a pricing error before accepting your order, we will explain the correct price and ask whether you wish to proceed. If you decline, we will refund any payment taken.

Made-to-order jewellery

Made-to-order pieces are produced after purchase, according to the options agreed.

The production timeframe is stated on the product page or confirmed directly. Delivery time is additional unless expressly included.

Making a piece after an order is placed does not automatically remove your statutory cancellation rights. Any applicable exception for genuinely bespoke or personalised jewellery will be explained before purchase.

Bespoke commissions

The £50 design fee covers the initial consultation and agreed design development. It is credited towards the jewellery price if you proceed.

The scope of the design service, any additional charges and the applicable cancellation rights are explained before payment.

Before production, we confirm the design, materials, size, price and timeframe in writing. Making begins after approval and receipt of the agreed payment.

Sizing and customer instructions

Please provide accurate measurements, engraving text and other personalisation instructions.

We will ask you to check the agreed specification before production. If you notice an error, contact us promptly.

Where an adjustment is needed because incorrect information was supplied, we will explain what is possible and confirm any proposed cost before carrying out work. You will not be charged to correct an error for which we are responsible.

Resizing is not possible for every design.

Changes to orders

Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to change an order.

Changes may affect the price or timeframe, and may not be possible once making or dispatch has begun. Any additional work and charges will be agreed before proceeding.

Delivery

Delivery arrangements are explained in our Shipping & Returns policy.

We will notify you if we become aware of a significant delay and discuss the available options. Your statutory rights concerning late or failed delivery remain unaffected.

Where we arrange the carrier, the jewellery remains at our risk until received by you or a person you nominate.

For international orders, any import charges payable by the recipient will be explained before purchase where applicable.

Cancellation, returns and refunds

Eligible online purchases have statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights, as described in our Shipping & Returns policy.

Different provisions apply to genuinely bespoke or personalised jewellery and to the separate design service. Please refer to the policy relevant to your purchase.

Sale items retain their statutory rights.

Faults and aftercare

Your jewellery must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.

Contact us if you believe your jewellery is faulty or differs from the agreed specification. We will discuss assessment and the appropriate remedy.

Wear, accidental damage and care requirements are considered according to the circumstances. They do not automatically exclude a valid claim concerning a fault.

Any optional aftercare service or commercial guarantee is additional to your statutory rights.

Responsibility

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights concerning goods and services.

Complaints

Please email admin@cervostudio.com with your order or commission reference and a description of the concern.

We will review the information and discuss a resolution with you. Where applicable law requires information about an alternative dispute resolution provider, we will provide it.

Our Privacy & Cookies notice explains how we handle personal information, including information used for orders, commissions and customer correspondence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version provided when your contract is made applies to that contract.

Changes to an existing agreement require your agreement unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live, or any right you have to bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
