Bespoke Jewellery
A piece of jewellery can hold something deeply personal: a memory, a commitment, a symbol or an idea that belongs to you.
Working directly with founder and designer Nicholas Cavaciuti, the bespoke process develops that starting point into a piece of jewellery shaped around your story and the way you wish to wear it.
Your ideas, thoughtfully interpreted
You may arrive with a clear vision, a favourite gemstone or simply a feeling you would like the piece to express. You do not need a finished design.
Through conversation, we explore the possibilities together, considering form, materials, proportion and personal meaning.
Commissions can include rings, necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets, brooches and cufflinks, from understated everyday pieces to more expressive designs.
The bespoke process
1. Share your ideas
Complete the enquiry form with a little about the piece you have in mind, your budget and any important dates.
Include your preferred metals and gemstones if you know them. If you are unsure, we can guide you through the options.
2. Explore the possibilities
We review your enquiry and discuss what can be achieved within your budget and timeframe. Where needed, a consultation gives us time to explore your ideas in greater detail.
Before design work begins, a £50 design fee is required. This covers the initial consultation and design development.
3. Refine your design
Your ideas are developed into a proposed design, with the materials, details and price discussed before you proceed.
Depending on the piece, drawings or digital renders may be used to help you understand its form and proportions.
4. Approve and create
Once the design, price and production timeframe are agreed, we arrange payment of the remaining balance.
Making begins after payment. Your piece is created using the techniques best suited to its design, which may include fabrication, wax carving or computer-aided design.
Materials chosen for you
All metal used by Cervo Studio is 100% recycled.
We work with both natural and laboratory-created gemstones, with each clearly identified. During the design process, we discuss the options best suited to your preferences, budget and intended wear.
Budget and timing
Every commission is individually priced according to its materials, complexity and the work involved.
Sharing your budget at the beginning helps us suggest appropriate options and develop a design with clear expectations.
Once the design is approved and payment received, production typically takes 6–8 weeks. More complex pieces may require longer. Your timeframe will be agreed before making begins.
If your commission is intended for a particular occasion, please include the date in your enquiry.
Personalising an existing design
If you would like an existing Cervo design in a different metal, with another gemstone or with an engraving, please contact the studio directly.
A full bespoke consultation may not be necessary. We can advise on the available options, pricing and production time.
