Sizing Guide
The right fit makes a difference to how your jewellery feels and wears. Before ordering, take time to check the measurements on the product page and seek advice if you are unsure.
Finding your ring size
We recommend having your finger measured by a professional jeweller. Let them know the approximate width and style of the ring you intend to order, as these can affect the fit.
Your ring should sit comfortably at the base of your finger and pass over the knuckle with a little resistance.
When to measure
Finger size can change with temperature and throughout the day.
For a more reliable measurement:

Measure when your hands are at a comfortable temperature.

Avoid measuring immediately after exercise or when your fingers are unusually swollen.

Check your size more than once, ideally at different times.

Measure the exact finger and hand on which you intend to wear the ring.
The same finger on your other hand may be a different size.
Wider bands and stacked rings
Wider bands can feel tighter than narrow rings of the same size. Wearing several rings together can also affect the fit.
Where possible, have your finger measured using a band of a similar width to your chosen design. If you plan to wear an engagement ring and wedding band together, consider their combined width.

Using a ring sizer
A ring sizer can provide a useful starting point, but professional measurement is preferable for an important purchase.
Follow the sizer’s instructions carefully and check that it passes over your knuckle while remaining comfortable at the base of your finger.
Avoid estimating your size with string or paper, which can stretch or produce an inaccurate measurement.
International ring sizes
Cervo Studio uses UK ring sizes.
If you know your size in another system, contact us for help confirming the closest UK equivalent. The conversion chart below is a guide, and small differences can occur between measuring tools.
Resizing
Whether a ring can be resized depends on its construction, setting and the adjustment required.
Some designs, including bands with continuous patterns or stones around the circumference, may have limited resizing options or may not be suitable for resizing.
Please check with the studio before ordering if you are uncertain about your size.
Necklace and chain lengths
The product page identifies the chain length and whether a chain is included with your pendant.
To explore how a length will sit, measure an existing necklace you enjoy wearing or use a flexible tape measure around your neck. The position will vary with your proportions, the pendant’s size and the neckline of your clothing.
If you would prefer a different chain length, contact us before ordering so we can advise on the options.
Bracelets
Use a flexible tape measure to measure your wrist where you intend to wear the bracelet, keeping the tape close without pulling it tight.
Your wrist measurement is a starting point rather than the finished bracelet length. The design and your preferred fit determine how much additional room is needed.
For a bespoke bracelet, share your wrist measurement and whether you prefer a close or looser fit.
